About Me
My name is Kelsey Hunter, and I am a lifelong New Englander who was born and raised outside of Boston.
My husband and I met in kindergarten and recently settled down just a couple of miles away from the homes we grew up in.
I love to travel and find that researching a destination before I go is half the fun!
Some facts about me:
- I used to visit my paternal grandparents in the Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire multiple times a year.
- In college, I used to move in with my maternal grandparents on Martha’s Vineyard every summer and wait tables.
- We spent a fantastic honeymoon in Woodstock, VT.
- I bake in my free time, and my favorite recipes for winter are oatmeal cookie sandwiches with buttercream frosting and sticky toffee pudding.
- We have a mischievous chocolate lab named Penelope.

Here, we have enchanting landscapes that undergo beautiful changes over four distinct seasons. Autumn is my favorite, a time for renewal with crisp, clean air and striking leaves that burn red, orange, and yellow.
This area is also rich in culture, and I find that a deep sense of history is often woven into the very fabric of life. I hope this blog serves as inspiration and guidance for exceptional travel experiences in the Northeast.
